About Me
My name is Sannis and I’m a founder of Positive Education Finland. I had my special education degree in University of Malaga, Spain in 2010 and after that I’ve been working as a special education teacher in various schools in Helsinki metropolitan area in Finland. I also work as a neuropsychiatric coach and a mindfulness and emotion skills intructor and have created a parent coaching course for parents who have educational challenges at home.
I’m very interested in positive education and changing the focus from weaknesses to strengths. During the years of being a teacher and a coach I’ve met dozens of students with different difficulties. I’ve seen how powerful it is to find out their strengths and focus on the good.
Right now my mission is to train as many professionals and parents as possible to use Positive Education skills in a classroom and at home to raise our children up to an adulthood where they can recognize and be proud of their strengths and live a life where they can flourish.
